J. S. BRITTAIN
Since 2023 I have worked as part of the Research Software Engineering group at Oxford University. I maintain a keen interest in promoting best practices in software engineering in the research space, and a desire to contribute my skillset to a range of cutting edge research projects.
I joined the group from an appointment as Associate Professor in Psychology at the University of Birmingham where I developed and implemented novel forms of analytic techniques, computational models, and interfaces for real-time experimentation. Given my time working within the natural sciences I gained a great appreciation in how sensorimotor systems shape, and are shaped by, cognitive processes. |
